It does the work. You keep the pen.

PracticeThread is the AI-native practice platform for immigration firms — it brings the work in, runs the matters and knows the law. Nothing reaches a client without your sign-off.

Launching with a 15-day trial — full capability, no card. Export anytime.

app.practicethread.com/enquiries
  • Built for registered migration practitioners
  • Case search across ~9,700 published decisions
  • Legislation quoted verbatim, with citations
  • Append-only histories on every client file

A migration practice is five jobs. You were registered for one.

PracticeThread does the other four — chases the enquiries, reads the documents, cross-checks the file, drafts what's next — and shows its work at every step. The job that needs your registration stays yours: the judgment, and the pen.

01Bring work in

The front door never closes.

Enquiries, social messages, intake forms and posts land in one pipeline — priced, deduplicated and chased.

app.practicethread.com/enquiries
  • Status & expected fee on every enquiry
  • Next follow-up date, always set
  • Replies even after hours
  • Instagram
  • WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Lead flags with a reason
  • Escalation to a person
  • Intake forms from a sentence
  • Duplicate enquiries merge
  • Allow-listed research only
  • Scheduled posts with lead forms

Enquiries

A status, a fee, a date.

Nothing sits in the pipeline without a next follow-up.

Social Inbox

Three channels, one queue.

Instagram, WhatsApp and email — optional AI replies, even at midnight.

Intake Forms

Describe it, it exists.

A sentence becomes a public form; submissions land as leads.

Content Studio

Posts that pull leads.

Drafted from official sources, scheduled, with a lead form attached.

Firms that responded to a lead within an hour were ~7× more likely to qualify it. The average took 42 hours.

Harvard Business Review, audit of 2,241 companies (2011)third-party research on general sales leads

02Run the matters

The file that checks itself.

Uploads become facts awaiting your verification, the cross-check argues the matter against its own evidence, and agreements get signed in-house.

app.practicethread.com/matters

Document Reader

Uploads become facts.

Read on arrival, filling only empty fields — source and confidence attached.

Cross-Check

Breaches surface first.

Contradictions, gaps and expiring evidence, queued by severity.

Agreements

Signed without leaving.

Drafted from your templates, sent on approval, filed with the matter.

Once verified, a document is superseded, never edited — the file keeps its whole history.

Connectors

Works with the tools you already use.

Connect any of six, and their capabilities surface inside Silk automatically.

  • Gmail

Search, read, draft — never sends

  • Google Calendar

    Schedules in view

  • Google Forms

    Lands in the pipeline

  • Zoom

    Meetings on the matter

  • Instagram

    One inbox

  • WhatsApp

    One inbox

03Know the law

Silk has read the file. And the law.

Docked on every page — @mention a client, matter or document and get structured cards back: a draft, similar cases, a citation.

app.practicethread.com/silk

Your practice

File-first answers.

Grounded in matters, documents and practice notes — never generic.

The law

Verbatim, cited.

Exact provisions and published decisions, searchable by scenario.

Answers

Structured, actionable.

Drafts, citations and case lists come back as cards you can act on.

/validate

Argues the submission against criteria, file evidence and refusal patterns.

/case-study

Turns a published decision into a quote-validated team study.

Outward actions pause for your approval — Gmail stops at the draft.

Accuracy

Accuracy is architecture.

Rules the code enforces, not promises in the marketing — try to break every one of them in the trial.

Every value names its source

Machine-read values carry document and confidence, stay Unverified until you clear them, and never overwrite a person's entry.

No second quote, no finding

A breach finding requires verbatim quotes from two distinct documents — the rule lives in the code.

Cites verbatim, or declines

Legislation word for word with exact citations — never a guess in the gap.

Release requires a practitioner

Client-facing release is checked on the server against the practitioner designation — architecture, not a checkbox.

PracticeThreaddoesn’t lodge. Filing happens on government systems — by you.

Pricing

Every AI capability, on every plan.

Plans differ by seats, storage and team features — never by what the AI can do. Final pricing lands before launch, from real beta usage, so we won’t quote a number that changes.

Three seats

Included in both

  • Unlimited clients and matters

  • Per-user AI allowances; top-ups never expire
  • Background work never debits your balance

A lapsed account keeps read-only access and export — never a lockout.

Questions

What a careful buyer asks.

Does it submit applications for me?

No. It tracks each application’s status, reference and government charge, and keeps the file lodgement-ready — continuous histories, verified facts, documents with lineage.

Will the AI get me in professional trouble?

It’s built on the opposite assumption: the AI prepares, you release. Email drafting creates drafts only and cannot send. Extraction fills empty fields only and queues anything conflicting for human review. Only a registered practitioner verifies facts, sends for signature, or releases AI-drafted client-facing work. Silk quotes provisions verbatim with citations, and when it can’t back an answer from its sources, it says so instead of guessing.

Is my client data safe?

In private storage, with no public links. Every member’s access is permission-gated server-side, with optional TOTP two-factor, backup codes and a hard six-hour session cap. Every fact keeps its source lineage, and nothing machine-written silently replaces what you entered.

I’m solo — is this overkill?

Solo is the full product: same AI, same review, same signing, same research. The pipeline and follow-up cadences matter most when there’s no staff to catch what you drop, and the review matters most when there’s no second pair of eyes. Growing later is a seat change.

What does the legal research actually cover?

Silk quotes the legislation verbatim with exact citations, and case search runs across published court decisions, searchable by scenario — nearly ten thousand Federal Court, High Court and NSW decisions at launch; tribunal decisions aren’t in the corpus yet. When the corpus can’t certify an answer, Silk declines.

What connects to it today?

Six connectors: Google Forms, Gmail (search, read and draft — it never sends), Google Calendar, Zoom, Instagram and WhatsApp. It’s a web product; there’s no mobile app. Bringing an existing client list across is a CSV import — safe to re-run, with an email when it finishes.

Can my paralegal use it?

That’s the design. Roles and departments control what each member sees and does, and the practitioner designation — registration type, number and expiry — sits on top, gating the professional acts. The paralegal prepares everything; the registered practitioner releases it. The invite screen previews exactly the sidebar a new member will get, and viewers are free.

I’m not in Australia — is this for me yet?

Not yet. The launch market is Australia, and the shipped domain content — matter types, checklists, the law corpus — is Australian. But nothing underneath hardcodes a country: the platform is built country-generic, and the US and Canada are next. Want to know the day your country opens? Write to hello@practicethread.com with US or Canada in the subject line — that list hears first.

What happens if I stop paying?

Your data goes read-only and export stays available. Walking away with everything is a supported path — no ticket, no negotiation.

Trial

Put one matter through it.

Fifteen days at Practice level, no card. Load a matter, run the cross-check, send an agreement. Keep it only if it earns its place.
